We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Market Analyst to support our Commercial Team by delivering key insights into market trends, competitor analysis, and strategic opportunities.


Job Overview:


The Market Analyst will play a pivotal role in identifying market trends, target companies, and competitive strategies, primarily across the European and US pharmaceutical markets. This individual will leverage their insights to inform our digital marketing and communications strategies, supporting our business development initiatives to drive strategic growth. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.


Top 3 Tasks:


1. Market Research & Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth research on pharmaceutical market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities in Europe, US, and China.

2. Competitor & Peer Analysis: Track the performance, strategy, and activities of competitors and industry peers to provide actionable insights to the commercial and leadership teams.

3. Support Strategic Decision-Making & Business Development: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide data-driven recommendations for business development, product offerings, and market positioning.


Duties and Responsibilities:


– Market Trends Analysis: Monitor global and regional trends in pharmaceutical packaging, including regulatory changes, technological innovations, and shifts in customer demands.

– Competitive Intelligence: Analyze competitor strategies, product portfolios, and market presence; deliver regular reports to track competitive movements and industry benchmarking.

– Target Market Identification: Identify potential customers and strategic opportunities within the pharmaceutical sector, focusing on key markets in Europe and the US.

– Data-Driven Insights: Generate actionable insights to guide the company’s go-to-market strategy, new product launches, and market expansion initiatives.

– Support Strategic Planning: Assist in developing long-term strategic plans and short-term tactical initiatives based on comprehensive market intelligence and data analytics.

– Digital Marketing & Communications Integration: Use gathered insights to inform digital marketing and communication strategies, supporting business development initiatives within HubSpot for optimized customer targeting, engagement, and lead qualification.

– Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present clear, concise reports, market forecasts, and recommendations to senior leadership and the commercial development team.

– Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, product management, and leadership teams to ensure alignment between market data and business strategies.

Qualifications:


– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

– 3–5 years of experience in market analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

– Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical sector, especially in packaging solutions, is a plus.

– Experience with analytical tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and familiarity with HubSpot.

– Fluency in English (additional European languages are a plus).
