Our client is a market-leading FMCG group specializing in durable consumer goods, with a strong global footprint. The company boasts a diverse portfolio of high-demand hard goods, an established B2B and B2C distribution network, and robust manufacturing capabilities. As part of its growth strategy, the company seeks an experienced and dynamic Managing Director to lead its next phase of expansion, with a strong focus on manufacturing excellence, government relations, and strategic innovation.


The Role Will Require Relocation to MOROCCO.


As Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving the company’s strategic vision in the hard goods sector. Your focus will include scaling manufacturing operations, strengthening government and regulatory relationships, and optimizing the company’s market presence across B2B and B2C channels. You will lead a seasoned team to deliver operational excellence, drive revenue growth, and ensure compliance and alignment with regulatory frameworks.


Key Responsibilities

✅ Develop and implement growth strategies tailored to the hard goods FMCG market.

✅ Oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring quality, efficiency, and scalability.

✅ Cultivate and manage key relationships with government agencies and regulatory bodies.

✅ Lead cross-functional teams across operations, sales, marketing, and supply chain.

✅ Identify and pursue new market opportunities, partnerships, and government contracts.

✅ Ensure compliance with industry standards, health and safety, and regulatory requirements.

✅ Lead digital initiatives to improve operational processes and customer engagement.

✅ Drive financial performance aligned with strategic goals and shareholder expectations.


Ideal Candidate Profile

✔ Proven leadership experience as a Managing Director, CEO, or Senior Executive in FMCG hard goods.

✔ Strong expertise in manufacturing operations, supply chain, and industrial processes.

✔ Demonstrated success in government relations, regulatory compliance, and public sector engagement.

✔ Deep knowledge of B2B and B2C markets, with a history of driving growth and profitability.

✔ Commercially astute with strategic vision and hands-on operational skills.

✔ French & English speaking.

✔ Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

✔ Experience with digital transformation in manufacturing and sales is a plus.
