Upsilon Global are partnering with a rapidly expanding CRO who are looking to develop their portfolio with additional studies in Europe, most typically derived from Sponsor Partnerships in the region.


The ideal candidate will direct the Business Development activities of the CRO and drive the sales business through targeted partnerships with European Pharmaceutical and Biotech Companies. The ideal profile will play a key role in the company and in the generation of new business from sourcing to finalising agreements. This individual will also be responsible for the identification of such partnerships whilst also maintaining existing partnerships.


Responsibilities Include:


  • Attracts new Sponsors and build strong relationships via new projects
  • Maintains strong relationships with existing partners and ensures consistent, proactive account management
  • Contributes to the development of Business Development Objectives and Key Performance Indicators ,
  • Aims to ensure completion of relevant goals and reports metrics and measurements to the Company’s Management
  • Coordinates and acts on all relevant Requests for Information (RFIs)
  • Leads and/or assists in Bid-Defences/RFP's


Qualifications and Experience Desired


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Required: A minimum of 7 years' Business Development experience within the CRO and pharma/biotech industry in Europe
  • Desirable: A proven background in promoting Full-Service CRO services, including clinical monitoring activities
