Position Overview
As a Starter / Marshall at Cabot you will be part of a team of top performers who take pride in delivering an exhilarating golf experience for our guests while assisting in the day-to-day on course operations of Cabot. You work exceptionally well under pressure and enjoy a fast-paced, multi-faceted operation. Responsible, reliable, and energized by the variety of tasks involved in the day-to-day functions of the Golf Operations Department while ensuring exceptional customer service to guests and associates. You are proud to represent the Cabot brand, and proactively act as an ambassador and role model.

Player Assistance: Provide assistance to golfers, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience from the start to finish of their game.

Organization: Keep tee times and player schedules well-organized, facilitating an efficient flow on the golf course.

Leadership and Communication: Lead golfers through the course with clear communication, ensuring a positive and respectful atmosphere.

Customer Service on the Course: Prioritize golfer satisfaction by addressing their needs, managing pace of play, and enforcing course rules courteously.

Adaptability and Issue Resolution: Be adaptable to changes in player dynamics, and swiftly address and resolve any issues or challenges on the golf course.
Preferred qualifications and skills:

High school diploma

Positive attitude and excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle multiple duties under pressure

Ability to focus attention on guests needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Ability to work flexible hours - weekends and evenings as required

Requirements of the role you should be aware of:

Based on the nature of our business and the service we provide to our guests, to work with us, you must consent to a criminal background check as a condition of employment and an additional criminal background check every two years.

As a seasonal resort business, you can anticipate a schedule that will involve day, evening, night, and weekend work.

Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions such as heat, cold, rain, snow, and wind.

Communicate verbally with staff members and/or customers with or without the use of two-way radios.

Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing.
