Excellent opportunity for a Orthopedic surgeon, (Ankle and Foot specialist or Sport Medicine) to join the team at Salmon Arm (SLH). You will enjoy a busy and exciting practice working with many visiting orthopedic surgeons from neighbouring communities and alongside an excellent team of caring allied health professionals. You will be working in both the clinical and hospital setting and OR days; up to two OR days weekly. Opportunities to build a trauma service, procedure dependant. Candidate must be comfortable to live and settle in a rural read, ideally plan to stay for long term in the community.

Qualifications:

• Eligible for Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)
• Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
• Doctorate in Medicine
• Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory

Call Schedule:

Hours of work: Full Time
On call requirements: No on call requirements; however potential opportunity to join another on call schedule in neighbouring community.
