The Manitoba Government is seeking a qualified Mines and Quarry Inspector (MI3) to fill a position with Mining, Oil and Gas Branch. The Branch includes a team of engineers, geologist(s), auditor(s), technicians, inspectors and administrative staff who ensure compliance with the Mines and Minerals Act and associated regulations.

The Mines and Quarry Inspector (MI3) is responsible for the delivery of regulatory compliance and enforcement programs related to the aggregate, non-aggregate quarry and mining industry. The Mines and Quarry Inspector conducts field inspections and approves conditions and applications submitted by industry with respect to; mine exploration, construction, operation and rehabilitation of aggregate and non-aggregate quarries and mines and advanced exploration projects.
