TP-C-2024-005 Maintenance Worker II

As a member of the Physical Facilities Team, the Maintenance Worker II/ Locksmith Level I & II shall perform a variety of
skilled tasks in all facets of building maintenance and repairs, including repair and construction of specialized millwork,
furniture, fixtures, building interiors and exteriors, security access programming consistent with Northern Health Region
(NHR) and department policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Must have a valid Manitoba Class V driver’s license

• Familiar with window based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook)

• A minimum of 10 years demonstrated experience with the ability to complete building maintenance and repairs

to all facets of structural and architectural building with extended experience on the repair/ construction of
specialized millwork, ward/ office furniture repair, fixtures, building interior and exterior structures, roof repairs
in a health care facility

• Ability to perform one of the following trades: carpentry, plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical

• Satisfactory employment record required

• Successful candidate subject to provide security checks in accordance with Security Checks for Employment

Policy (HR-02-80). Waived for internal candidates with current checks on file.
