TP-C-2024-013 Recreation Facilitator

Plans and facilitates a wide variety of arts, crafts, games and activities to enhance the care experience of the clients in
Supportive Housing. Activities will be designed for the clients to enjoy and to learn leisure skills that they can take away
with them to enhance their quality of life.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Graduate of a Recognized Recreation Program

• Food Handler Certification, or willingness to obtain within three (3) months of commencing employment

• Advanced Violence Prevention training an asset

• P.I.E.C.E.S training or dementia care training an asset Safe moving and lifting or willingness to take at next

• Working knowledge of Windows based programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) and Internet

• Satisfactory employment record required

• Successful candidate subject to provide security checks in accordance with Security Checks for Employment
