Duties
Provide visitor services and revenue collection at park Kiosk and Visitor Centre. Position duties also include campground patrols, some cleaning of facilities and participating in initiatives to enhance the visitors’ experiences at Pukaskwa National Park.

Intent of the process
1 Permanent Seasonal position (.34 FTE) from May to September annually
1 Temporary position (YESS funded - See "Other Information") from May to September 2024
1 Temporary position (Anticipatory) from May to September 2024
This process may be used to create a list of qualified candidates to staff similar positions with various tenures (permanent or temporary vacancies), security levels or linguistic profiles in same or other parts of the country.

The "Core Competencies" listed above will form the foundation of the assessment process - you will be screened based on the responses to the experience questions; you will be assessed during the interview phase on how you demonstrate these core competencies; and finally, we will be using the core competencies to confirm references.
Conditions of employment
- Obtain and maintain a Reliability Status security clearance
- Possession of a valid class G driver’s license
- Work shift-work, and/or weekends, and/or statutory holidays and provincial/territorial holidays, when required
- Wear a Parks Canada uniform as per the uniform policy
- Work and/or travel in varied terrain and weather conditions
- Stand/walk/hike/sit for prolonged periods of time
