On-Call Education Assistant

School District No. 48 is currently looking for on-call EducationAssistants to join the team!Duties & Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Principal(s) and the generalsupervision of the Classroom Teacher(s), provides assistance to students whohave physical disabilities, chronic health impairments, intellectualdisabilities and/or social, emotional and behavioural problems as designated bythe Director of Instruction, while supporting the achievement of statedprograms goals and objectives.Qualifications: Completion of Grade 12 plus a special program and over six (6) months up to and including one (1) year’s related experience. A special program would be the Capilano University Education Assistant Program. Valid Class 5 B.C.

Driver’s License. Knowledge of basic First Aid.
