The Technology Technician is responsible for the installation and support for Product Link Technology and other equipment support in field EM Services as required.

In a typical day, YOU will :
Demonstrate safe work and environmentally sound behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives.
Schedule and perform Product Link installations and troubleshooting in the field
Conduct repairs to minimize downtime and reduce cost
Complete service reports and work order details
Complete before failure Service Letters
Obtain SOS Samples
Complete equipment inspections as required
Perform Maintenance Inspections
Perform after hours/on-call/overnight rotations and travel to assigned territories weekly
Must-haves for this role :
Post Secondary Education (A Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician would be an asset)
Highly safety conscious with solid experience with electrical and electronic troubleshooting
Customer centric with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and analytical with excellent relationship management
Effective time-management and planning with the ability to quickly adapt to multiple and often changing schedules and priorities
Organized with the ability to maintain a high level of customer service in a fast paced, deadline driven work force
Positive team player and proactive in delivering solutions with a sense of urgency
Process improvement mindset with strong problem solving abilities
Self-motivated with strong initiative, high integrity and the ability to make independent decisions
Well-developed computer skills and familiarity with Cat Systems would be an asset
Willing and able to work flexible hours and travel extensively in support of business requirements
A valid Driver's License and clean Driver's Abstract
