Government Services Director

About the Position:

The Government Services Director holds a senior management position within the Vuntut
Gwitchin Government (VGG) that oversees capital planning, property management, warehouse
management, community delivery services as well as infrastructure and maintenance. The
Director also leads strategic planning, develops achievable goals, and implements processes to
ensure organizational effectiveness as it delivers services to citizens.

Desired Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in business administration, urban planning; or substantial

experience in maintaining community infrastructures, strategic planning and evaluation.

• Considerable experience in trades, project management, construction, an/or maintenance

operations; a trade certificate is an asset.

• Experience leading and managing teams.
• Financial management experience, including capital planning and budgeting.
