What You Will Do

Key Responsibilities:

Process responsibilities:

• Leading activities related to commercial accounting primarily for trade promotions accounting.

• Supporting the team on other commercial accounting including gross to net sales accounting, rebates, coupons, billings, deferrals, reserves, and revenue recognition, for the North America region.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations.

• Lead audit processes raised from the Legal Entity Controllership team.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiency enhancements in accounting procedures

• Actively embrace on methods to standardize tasks across all regions.

• Generate ideas, foster and implement continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on optimizing processes, automation, reducing wasted time and pursuing process efficiency opportunities.

• Remain updated with industry trends, changes in accounting rulings, and latest technologies.

Compliance:

• Assist in any audit process raised by Legal Entity Controllership.

• Adhere to the strong internal controls in place to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in accounting, problem solving, critical thinking, process improvement, and great communication skills.

• University/Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

• Experience in SAP, Excel, and other Microsoft tools

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies

• Be organized and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines

• Experience in a Commercial Accounting department desirable

• Solid US GAAP accounting knowledge preferrable

• Fluent English
