Position Overview: As the Human Resources Administrative Assistant, you will support the HR team throughout the employee lifecycle, assisting with onboarding, offboarding, and providing daily administrative support to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, detail oriented and has strong critical-thinking skills to identify challenges and suggest solutions.
Responsibilities:
· Manage multiple calendars, with a focus on scheduling for the CHRO.
· Coordinate travel arrangements for the CHRO.
· Support recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
· Oversee all aspects of onboarding and offboarding, including background checks, IT and office setup, and employee transitions.
· Coordinate employee parking and access badges with building management.
· Address general HR inquiries and assist with employee requests.
· Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of employee electric files.
· Provide back up support for Front Desk as needed.
· Efficiently handle and distribute incoming and outgoing mail.
Education and Experience:
· 2-3 years of Administrative Assistance experience
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across various levels.
· Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.
· Self-motivated, with strong critical-thinking skills.
Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with the final offer amount dependent on education, skills, job related knowledge, experience, and internal equity is: $25 - $32 hourly.
