Senior Manager – Brittany’s Place

Position Summary
The Senior Manager will supervise, direct, and oversee all aspects of Brittany’s Place, including staffing, program operations, and community engagement. This role involves developing strategic goals, ensuring quality services, and cultivating a thriving, inclusive work environment. The Senior Manager reports directly to the Program Director and plays a critical role in achieving the organization’s mission.

Key Responsibilities
Program Oversight
- Lead strategic vision, strategy, and goal-setting for Brittany’s Place.
- Ensure census goals align with budget expectations.
- Oversee staffing levels, scheduling, and program delivery to meet operational targets.
- Manage employee lifecycle activities, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and coaching.
- Provide accurate financial reporting and billing in collaboration with the Finance team.
Quality Control and Process Improvement
- Continuously evaluate and improve program elements, ensuring alignment with evidence-based practices.
- Monitor compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Community Relations and Outreach
- Represent Brittany’s Place through outreach efforts to increase community awareness and partnerships.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and partner agencies to advance organizational goals.
Team Leadership and Development
- Establish clear departmental roles, processes, and success metrics.
- Create a culture of respect, purpose, and pride among staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings, communicate priorities, and foster professional growth through training and development.
Organizational Alignment
- Actively contribute to 180 Degrees’ vision of fostering healthy, multicultural communities.
- Model organizational values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Promote a work environment that emphasizes wellness, collaboration, and cultural competence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in social services or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years in a social service setting serving clients.
- A minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and database management.
- Flexibility, problem-solving aptitude, and adaptability in dynamic settings.
- Additional Requirements:
- Cultural competence and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Valid driver’s license.
