Location:
Charlton, MA (85-90%)
Franklin, MA (10-15%) – generally once every two weeks
This role is 100% on-site.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (with some flexibility)

What You’ll Do:
As a Service Desk Specialist – Tier 2, you’ll serve as a key escalation point for technical support issues, offering hands-on expertise in:
- Resolving incidents and service requests escalated from Service Desk Support Analysts or submitted via self-service.
- Providing deskside support and delivering high-quality problem management.
- Documenting solutions for internal Service Desk and business partner use.
- Supporting hardware and software provisioning for new employees, imaging computers, and managing secure data processes.
- Collaborating on exciting projects such as security enhancements (e.g., MFA implementation), office moves, and installing switches on racks.
What You Bring to the Role:
Must-Have Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Windows and Apple operating systems.
- Active Directory and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ticketing systems, mobile devices, anti-virus/spyware tools.
- Desktop and laptop hardware.
- Peripherals like printers and desk phones.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational prowess with the ability to prioritize and execute high volumes of work under strict deadlines.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and framework (ITIL v3 or 2011 certification preferred).
- Scripting knowledge (a plus).
Education & Certifications:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Help Desk/Desktop Support technical certifications (preferred).
