Compliance/Supply Chain Officer

We are seeking a Compliance/Supply Chain Officer with experience in Durable Medical Equipment to join our team and ensure our practice operates efficiently and meets all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations concerning DME and healthcare practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance records, including certifications, licenses, and audit documentation.
• Conduct regular audits of DME-related processes and resolve any compliance issues.
• Stay informed on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to proactively address compliance needs.

Supply Chain Management:

• Manage the procurement, inventory, and distribution of durable medical equipment and other supplies within the practice.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure cost-effective and quality products.
• Track inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement strategies to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Oversee the delivery process to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of patient and practice needs.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless integration of DME in patient care.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on DME-related policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, supply chain, or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance and/or supply chain management, with a focus on durable medical equipment.
• Strong understanding of DME regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid requirements.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems and tools.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.

Work Location: Madison

Schedule: No weekends, 8 hr shift

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
