Position Overview: As a Training Supervisor, you will manage, administers, and coordinates the activities of the organization in support of the policies, goals and objectives established by the agency Board of Directors. Performs the following duties directly or through subordinate staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily training functions within the agency, including supervision of training and facilitation specialists.
- Lead the development of the regional Permanency Conference model, establishing plans, timelines, and outcomes.
- Train and educate staff and stakeholders on the Permanency Conference model.
- Design, update, and manage training curricula as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between training and agency programs, ensuring accurate and timely training delivery and documentation.
- Prepare reports for training evaluation, utilization, and outcome measurement.
- Develop and maintain the Annual Training Plan to meet regulatory and accreditation requirements, including a detailed summary and position-based training matrix.
- Organize quarterly training meetings and maintain updated calendars and curricula.
- Manage online training opportunities and community computer training programs.
- Contribute to the agency’s short-, mid-, and long-term training goals.
- Respond to community training requests and represent the agency in relevant meetings and conferences.
- Ensure cultural sensitivity and teamwork are integral to all activities.
- Travel as necessary for meetings, training, and business, adhering to agency driving standards.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in training programs.
