A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PROJECT ENGINEER - CIVIL ENGINEER
As a Project Engineer - Civil Engineer, you collaborate with your team and Project Manager to successfully complete structural engineering projects. Interacting with clients daily, you are able to assist in ensuring their satisfaction. You produce structural analysis, designs, calculations, and details. Because you have the opportunity to work with various material types including wood, steel, concrete, masonry, cold form steel, and aluminum, you are never bored. You love keeping busy and making sure that projects go off without a hitch.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a Structural or Civil emphasis
- 0 years of experience (2 years preferred)
- AutoCAD 2013 (or newer) 2D experience
- Understanding of the 2013 and 2016 California Building Codes (CBC)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe
