POSITION OVERVIEW

This full-time, onsite role as a Project Manager – Civil Engineer involves leading a team through the planning, design, and execution of diverse projects. The position requires strong technical acumen, exceptional leadership, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain a proactive and growth-oriented mindset while fostering teamwork and ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Lead design teams using AutoCAD and Civil 3D to produce high-quality land development construction drawings.
• Oversee the entitlement approval process and secure grading and encroachment permits.
• Manage diverse projects, including high-density residential developments, shopping centers, auto dealerships, gas stations, amusement parks, and quick-service restaurant (QSR) developments.
• Ensure civil engineering plans meet QA/QC standards and stay within budgetary constraints.
• Establish and manage design criteria while adhering to industry standards.
• Guide and mentor associate and design engineers with a problem-solving management approach.
• Define project parameters to deliver timely, high-quality plans.
• Collaborate directly with company leadership to develop accurate proposals and support business development initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in land development projects.
• Strong skills in client relationship management, project oversight, and team leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• Expertise in financial planning and budget management.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• EIT certification preferred; Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable
