Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and resource availability.
- Collaborate with various departments, including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished products.
- Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to analyze production data and adjust schedules as necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to manage stock effectively.
- Forecast production needs based on historical data and market trends to optimize resource allocation.
- Identify potential bottlenecks in the production process and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and any changes made.
Requirements
- Proven experience in production scheduling or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems for effective scheduling and inventory management.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast demand accurately.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in fabrication processes is a plus but not required.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and make informed decisions under pressure.
