JOB SUMMARY
The Annual Fund Manager is an integral member of a 12-member development team at APCH, responsible for implementing Annual Fund campaigns that raise $500,000 annually and supporting the gift processing, reporting, and analysis to help support the maintenance and growth of our individual donor pipeline. This role involves gift administration, report generation and analysis, project management, and oversight of digital and direct mail campaigns to meet annual fundraising goals. A key responsibility of the Annual Fund Manager will be to develop, implement, and manage quarterly appeals, including a robust end-of-year appeal to sustain and increase donor engagement. The $500,000 raised by the Annual Fund will contribute to an overall fundraising revenue goal of $6.8MM in FY25. The position reports to APCH’s Associate Director of Development and requires gift administration skills; a desire for interdepartmental collaboration; the ability to leverage technology platforms; and strong written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Annual Fund Campaign Development
- Support the strategy and production of four Annual Fund campaigns, including a signature year-end holiday appeal as well as appeals in the fall, spring, and summer.
- Oversee concept development, written copy, and design elements for all Annual Fund campaigns.
- Develop and implement meaningful stewardship touchpoints for Annual Fund donors, including opportunities to volunteer with and visit APCH.
- Segment donor lists and create tailored communication strategies in service of donor acquisition, retention, and growth goals.
- Collaborate with Associate Director of Development and the marketing and communications team to develop and design appeal materials and messaging.
- Monitor and track the Annual Fund budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the Annual Fund, including a focus on employee giving, workplace matching programs, and donor acquisition from APCH’s volunteer base.
- Analyze and report on fundraising performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet goals.
Data Management:
- Ensure accuracy and perform ongoing maintenance on accounts, contacts, donations, and campaigns.
- Create and maintain accurate campaign dashboard and reports as requested.
- Analyze giving trends and donor behavior to inform fundraising strategies and improve effectiveness across campaigns.
- Manage and generate accurate mailing lists for development events, appeals and other solicitations.
- Provide administrative support of all fundraising campaigns via adding/editing accounts, contacts, donations, and reports across all platforms.
- Provide overall gift administration in partnership with the Development Coordinator.
- Provide guidance and support during agency fundraising campaigns and community events, as well as with urgent appeals as needed.

Technical and Performance Skills

Education and Experience Requirements:
- A mixture of education and experience
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a nonprofit fundraising setting
- Experience with Salesforce or other donor databases a plus
- Experience in the non-profit youth development sector a plus
Physical and Mental Demands
- Able to work in a dynamic and high noise level environment typical of a youth center
- Able to work some evenings and weekends
- Sitting for long periods, some standing/walking
- Continual use of hands for typing and clerical functions
- Long periods of computer usage requiring good vision and focus
