What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shelter Director position at A Second Chance Animal Shelter?
The Shelter Director is directly responsible for organizational development, board relations and financial management of all accounts. They will have knowledge of federal, state & local tax laws, and development and adherence to the annual budget. The Shelter Director oversees fundraising and public relations; acts as liaison with government, schools, special interest groups, media and civic organizations, seeks grants which may include research, proposal writing and reporting requirements. The Shelter Director must also have a deep committment to the humane treatment and compassionate care of animals.

- On call
- Weekends as needed
