We are hiring an Accounting Manager for a small transportation company with a strong community presence . The Accounting Manager will have 3 direct reports and will be part of the organization's continued growth and process improvement.
As Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for :
- Lead and manage 3 accountants
- Responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting
- Oversee month end close process
- Handle payroll through QuickBooks (desktop and online) and ERP systems like McCloud and Lightspeed.
- Collaborate with the CPA firm during year-end tax preparation (calendar year-end).
- Manage intercompany transactions for 10-11 entities.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
