What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care-Behavioral Programs position at Ability Beyond?
Locations: Several programs are available across the Greater Bristol area and Greater Danbury Area
Hours: Day and evening. One weekend day availability is a must.
Pay Rate: $17.75-$18.50/hour
- Provide personalized support to adults with diverse medical and behavioral needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, including hands-on care, cooking, and cleaning.
- Facilitate appointments, ensuring the utmost attention to each individual’s needs.
- Inspire community engagement through activities like work, volunteering, and events (e.g., Special Olympics).
- Foster positive behavior, socialization skills, and goal achievement.
- Maintain thorough documentation for individualized plans and progress.
- Collaborate with nurses, behaviorists, and nutritionists to deliver individualized care.
