AbilityFirst is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to lead our team, providing exceptional supervision, training, and guidance to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in various community work settings. This role is crucial in assisting our program participants to enhance their vocational skills with the objective of achieving gainful employment, ensuring their safety, and compliance with employer needs.
Your Role
- Direct supervision and training of Job Coaches and supported employees, focusing on skill development for community employment.
- Foster positive relationships between employers, Employment Specialists, and workers, ensuring successful work placements.
- Develop, implement, and oversee training programs in collaboration with the supervisor, tailored to participant needs.
- Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with labor and health, and safety regulations.
- Document and maintain accurate records of worker productivity, progress, and behavior.
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to program development and evaluation.
Qualifications
Who You Are
- At least 18 years of age with a clean criminal background check.
- 1-3 years’ supervisory experience with a team of at least 5 employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in supported employment programs and Person-Centered Planning.
- Ability to independently make sound business decisions.
- Valid California driver’s license with a record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Physical and Environmental Aspects
- Dynamic work environment across various settings, requiring mobility and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Operate standard office and production equipment.
- The role demands over 50% of time spent in active supervision including sitting, standing, and communicating effectively.

Work Schedule
- Full-Time Position
- Monday to Friday, from 8:00am to 5:30pm
