Job Overview

The Marketing Manager is responsible to guide and develop the Marketing team, aligning with strategic objectives to support the credit union and niche business lines. This role focuses on leadership, staff development, and executing key initiatives to drive member growth, communication, and analytics.

Major Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership and Development: Works in conjunction with marketing management to ensure strategies are aligned with organizational objectives. Establishes clear departmental objectives and offers regular feedback to subordinates. Fosters an environment of continuous improvement and digital innovation within the team. Designs and implements initiatives to enhance team competencies and promotes professional growth. Acts as trusted marketing consultant and advisor, building and cultivating strong relationships with internal executives and enterprise-wide stakeholders. Evaluates, monitors, and reports on campaign effectiveness, providing insights to enhance strategic performance.
  • Digital Marketing Logistics and Execution: Supervises the implementation and enhancement of digital marketing campaigns. Oversees digital marketing channels, including social media, email campaigns, and web content management etc. Develops comprehensive omni-channel lead journeys that effectively nurture prospects and increase conversion rates. Encourages innovation by introducing new ideas and staying informed about marketing trends and technologies. Uses analytics tools to monitor and report digital marketing performance. Ensures that digital marketing initiatives are aligned with the overarching marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Marketing Execution: Formulates and executes marketing strategic plans that align with business and revenue objectives. Manages multi-channel B2B campaigns spanning digital platforms, events, webinars, and additional channels, ensuring the delivery of consistent brand messaging. Oversees promotional campaigns aimed at enhancing member engagement and increasing market share. Manages relationships with external vendors and community partners. Oversees the development and implementation of marketing materials, ensuring uniformity and excellence. Evaluates the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by employing tracking tools to gather feedback. Ensure all materials adhere to State and Federal regulations and remain informed about any changes.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience. Marketing leadership experience, ideally in financial services is desired.
  • (1) A bachelor's degree, (preferably in Marketing, Communications, or Business) or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).
  • Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
  • Achieving success in digital marketing initiatives and their associated metrics.
  • Attainment of the goals and objectives set forth in the marketing campaign.
  • Prompt execution and completion of marketing projects.
  • Professional development and performance of marketing team members.
  • Quality and consistency of marketing materials and campaigns.
  • Effective collaboration with external vendors and internal departments.
  • Manage Budgets: Oversee budget allocation and external vendor partnerships.
  • Sitting at a workstation for extended periods of time, standing at community events for extended periods of time, and ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Must have a valid drivers license with ability to travel between branch locations and community events. Hybrid - in office with limited remote.
