West Michigan's largest private music lesson school is now hiring a part-time Receptionist/Student Service Coordinator to work at our Grand Rapids location and occasionally at our Jenison location as needed. The receptionist/student service coordinator will perform a variety of tasks under the supervision of the school Manager.

$18-20 per hour to start with raises based on performance evaluations, plus bonuses and a profit sharing program.
We offer 40 hours Paid Time Off, bonuses, and a profit sharing program.
Must be willing to work as needed at both locations and be available for two evening shifts (4-9) and a Saturday shift every weekend (9-5).
Knowledge of music and/or playing an instrument is not required.
RECEPTIONIST/STUDENT SERVICE COORDINATOR Approximately 18-20 hours per week:
Includes weekday closer shifts (4-9pm) and one Saturday shift (9-5). Potential to grow into a full-time position.

FRONT DESK/RECEPTIONIST JOB DUTIES:
- Answering phones (Looking for the GOLDEN VOICE, one that sounds amazing on the phone with a great tone and excitement for our customers.)
- Managing details (Requires a great memory.)
- An ability to sell yourself as well as selling our services as the best music lesson experience in West Michigan. (Looking for a people person.)
- Note: If you do not like sales, please do not apply. Selling our school on the phone to potential clients is one of the most important parts of this position.
- Registering clients
- Processing paperwork
- Cleaning
- Communicating with teachers, staff and clients.
- Daily interaction with kids (ages 5 ) and their parents.
- Providing over-the-top customer service to everyone who walks through the Academy doors, making them feel welcomed, heard, and appreciated.
- Scheduling needs for over 800 students and more than 40 teachers. High attention to detail and strong communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to follow directions, multi-task, meet deadlines, and achieve monthly registration goals.

- Keeping the overall appearance and look of the Academy consistent with the image and culture of the Academy.

Hours: Weekday evening and weekend day shift, but must have some evening availability to occasionally help cover other closer shifts when needed.
