Office Manager

Responsibilities:
- Administrative tasks: Overseeing the general running of the office, including managing filing systems, office supplies, and IT infrastructure
- Staff management: Delegating work, managing staff workload, and ensuring adequate staff levels
- Communication: Responding to customer inquiries and complaints, and communicating with employees and visitors
- Scheduling: Coordinating appointments, meetings, and events, and booking travel
- Budgeting: Recording office expenditure and managing the budget
- Health and safety: Reviewing and updating health and safety policies, and ensuring they're observed
- Data protection: Checking that data protection laws are being adhered to, and reviewing and updating policies
- Office layout: Organizing the office layout and arranging for necessary repairs
- Training: Promoting staff development and training
- Company events: Organizing company events and conferences
- Induction programs: Organizing induction programs for new employees
- Ensure the quality and compliance of office documents through meticulous review for accuracy and completeness.
- Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing support for implementation and sharing best practices for overall efficiency enhancement.
- Assist in presenting progress updates and results to management and other stakeholders through various communication channels.
- Coordinate and assist in organizing office meetings, track action items, and maintain schedules.
- Support various office activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time and maintaining overall office quality.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, excellent reading comprehension skills.
- Solid leadership, time management, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong attention to detail in evaluating the completion of various phases of a project.
- Analytical skills to monitor progress and identify areas needing adjustment or improvement.
- Ability to meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing assignments from multiple individuals.
- Proficiency with Asana & Microsoft's suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Technology and computer savvy, with the ability to navigate computer programs and the Internet easily.

Pay: $49,780.00 - $66,835.00 per year
