HIRING IMMEDIATELY: ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE CLERK IN LAKELAND, FL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our client in Lakeland, FL. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills to manage payment processing, account discrepancies, and financial reporting. Pay, Schedule, and Location
- $15 to $17/hour, paid weekly
- Monday–Thursday: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Friday: Flexible, 7:30 am – 12:30 pm to 4:00 pm
- Located in Lakeland, FL
- Benefits package available
Duties and Responsibilities
- Apply customer payments and post payments by recording cash and checks
- Research and solve payment discrepancies and adjust accounts as needed
- Prepare daily manual deposits and weekly reports for the accounting manager
- Prepare monthly statements and summarize receivables
- Maintain and verify records by scanning invoices, debits, and credits
- Investigate account discrepancies by working with sales, management, and customers
- Resolve collections by reviewing customer payment history and communicating with customers
- Handle cash matching browser discrepancies on a weekly basis
- Ensure confidentiality and follow all company procedures
- Perform other duties as required and assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with BizTrack or similar software
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ethical conduct and problem-solving ability
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- General math skills and a willingness to learn
