Job Summary
The Logistics Manager will play a crucial role in achieving our company goals and meeting customer needs by supervising and overseeing our supply chain operations.
Essential Functions

- Oversee the US Logistics Team:
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Management, Sales, Customer Service, Quality, and other departments to meet customer needs.
- Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS) and SAP for daily order processing and inventory management.
- Prioritize tasks to fulfill sales orders, ensuring timely shipping and maintaining inventory levels.
- Prepare shipping documents and package items for shipment.
- Ensure safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
- Arrange same-day deliveries within established guidelines.
- Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders.
- Organize and manage inventory, storage, and transportation.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, updating supplies as needed.
- Ensure ancillary supplies are sufficiently replenished.
- Communicate with freight forwarders on shipment status
- Work with FDA, CBP on import/export requirements
- Set and Achieve Goals:
- Establish long-term objectives, short-term goals, and lead measures to align with the organizational plan.
- Identify gaps and lead key projects to address them.
- Lead process improvement initiatives (Kaizen, PPI, Cross-border projects).
- Coordinate Import/Export Operations:
- Interact with colleagues in Asia, regulatory agencies (CBP, FDA, USDA), carriers, and freight forwarders.
- Apply for import/export permits and commodity classification as necessary.
- Participate in after-hours communications with colleagues in Asia.
- Team Leadership:
- Coach employees to achieve personal and team success, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Participate in the hiring process for the logistics team.
- Evaluate and present performance data to executive leadership.
- Manage the warehouse facility by coordinating with property management and vendors.
Minimum Qualifications – Education and Experience
- B.S. in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in supply chain in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry.
Preferred Qualifications – Education and Experience
- Experience with international shipments is preferred.

Salary Range
- $85,000 to $100,000 plus bonus.
