Job Title: Industrial Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing plant layouts, conducting time studies, and implementing efficiency improvements. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience in process improvement, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize plant layouts to improve workflow, reduce waste, and enhance productivity. Ensure efficient use of space and resources.
• Conduct time and motion studies to analyze work processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements. Establish standard times for tasks and processes.
• Implement strategies to increase human efficiency and productivity. Develop and apply methods to streamline operations and reduce cycle times.
• Collect and analyze data on production processes, equipment performance, and labor utilization. Use statistical tools to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process improvements. Ensure changes are sustainable and aligned with company goals.
• Provide training to staff on new processes and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Ensure all plant layouts and process changes comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Promote a safe working environment.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in plant layout design, time studies, and process improvement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD software for plant layout.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.

Salary : $75,000 - $92,500
