Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher

Action Plumbing Heating & Air/ 24 Hour Rooter Connectionz is a family-owned & operated company looking for a Full-Time, entry-level, competent, Customer Service Rep/Dispatcher to assist with inbound and outbound calls. The ideal candidate must have great communication skills, speak English fluently, be hard-working, professional, easy to talk to, have a good attitude, be well organized, and be willing to learn.

Required Credentials:

• One or more years of experience as a Customer Service Representative and/or Dispatcher.
• Open availability to work Sunday-Saturday between 8 AM - 8 PM.
• Computer/tech-savvy with an ability to learn new systems quickly.

Preferred Credentials:

• Bilingual in Spanish
• Experience in the area of customer service and/or related dispatching service technicians.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong degree of self-motivation to provide exceptional customer service to customers by phone while directing technicians by cell phone and tracking devices.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple appointments.
• Demonstrated listening, written/verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed set goals.
• Experience gathering customer information and keying it into a computer.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or a combination of related experience and/or advanced training/education.
• Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of the local geographic territory.
• Responsibilities include:
• Being reliable and punctual for scheduled shifts
• Answering inbound calls.
• Making outbound calls to existing clientele.
• Schedule and organize appointments.
• Managing many calls and calendars at once.
• Complaint resolution/customer retention.
• Understanding dispatching funnels.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Avoid any possible conflict of interest.
• Paper and computer work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
