Addison Central School DistrictMulti-Team Teacher2024-2025Addison Central School District is seeking a multi-team teacher for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This position would co-teach a grade or two to assist with academic and social skill instruction, stabilization, and support to students and classes. Successful candidates will demonstrate an interest in child development, commitment to student-centered, inquiry-based teaching and learning, and have a capacity to differentiate instruction around student learning styles and abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience with trauma-informed practices and experience fostering an inclusive classroom community.
Knowledge of standards-based curriculum and/or International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program is preferred and ability to collaborate and work as part of a team is essential. Successful candidates will have experience teaching foundational literacy skills and have experience teaching Bridges in Mathematics program as well as Responsive Classroom. Qualified candidates must hold an appropriate current Vermont Educator license with the pertinent endorsement (Elementary Education).
