We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Loan Officer to join our team. As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining loans for various purposes. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong financial sales skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Originate and process loan applications from start to finish
- Evaluate client financial information and determine loan eligibility
- Provide guidance and advise clients on loan options and terms
- Collaborate with underwriters, appraisers, and other professionals to ensure timely loan processing
- Stay up to date on current lending regulations and industry trends
- Build and manage relationships with clients, real estate agents, and centers of influence
- Create and maintain an active pipeline of quality clients
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of loan origination, mortgage servicing, and loan processing
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Solid understanding of basic math principles and financial calculations
- Proficient in using 10 key typing for accurate data entry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related field preferred
