Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding clients through the loan application process, assessing their financial needs, and providing tailored loan solutions. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of financial products, and the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Communicate in a friendly and professional manner with Clients
-Oversee Transaction Management of Residential mortgage loans
-Assist with Contracts, Docusign, and overall File Management
-Help scheduling appointments with prospective clients
- Evaluate and analyze clients' financial information to determine eligibility for loans.
- Guide clients through the loan origination process, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and submitted.
- Negotiate loan terms with clients and lenders to secure the best possible outcomes.
- Utilize underwriting principles to assess risk and make informed lending decisions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FNMA guidelines and other regulatory requirements.
- Utilize financial software and accounting tools to manage client accounts and track loan progress.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the loan process, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with other financial professionals to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
Requirements:
- Trustworthy and honest
-Detail oriented, Highly organized with great time management skills
- Proven experience as a Loan Officer, processor, underwriter or in a similar financial sales role is preferred.
- Familiarity with underwriting processes and loan origination systems is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial software applications is essential.
- Strong key typing skills for efficient data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on building relationships with clients.
