Reporting to the Directors of Clinical Operations, the Practice Support Associate is responsible for and oversees the administrative support of the clinical offices, physicians, and operational workflow functions necessary for maintaining and enhancing the efficiency of the practice. (On-Site; Monday - Friday; 8:30am - 5:00pm)
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and resolving unread and call back exams report.
- Coordinating and monitoring Clinical Facility Maintenance Requests.
- Daily monitoring of fax queues and error logs.
- Handling physician correspondence and various radiology report distributions.
- Point of contact for radiologists for variety of clinical and operational needs.
- Requesting outside radiology exams as directed.
- Monitoring and ensuring all radiology appointments are properly scheduled to maximize efficiency.
- Correlating technologists’ schedules with appointment templates.
- Various reporting responsibilities and ad hoc requests.
- Assisting with coordinating physician meetings and events.
- Manage physician credentialing database.
- Manage physician scheduling system.
- Create purchase orders as needed.
- Coordinate executive appointments and calendars.
- Responsible for various clerical duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated knowledge of the health care environment.
- Administrative experience and basic knowledge of medical terminology.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling skills.
- Strong computer skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Successful experience planning, organizing and coordinating projects
