AdvanceTEC LLC, a leading provider of cleanroom design and construction services, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Safety Professional to join our dynamic team. As a Site Safety Professional, you will be responsible for leading project safety and ensuring that all construction activities onsite adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, minimizing risks and promoting a safe working environment for all personnel on-site. This position requires frequent travel. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various construction sites within the United States of America, as required.
Location: North Carolina but will travel to sites and be on-site (various locations)

Responsibilities
- Provides the leadership to develop and implement site-specific programs, plans and procedures for meeting and exceeding Company health, safety & environmental performance goals.
- Create a safety climate and culture that promotes safe work, reporting, and accountability with the common goal of zero incidents.
- Lead, spearhead, and drive AdvanceTEC’s safety culture and program across the project.
- Assists project team with daily pre task planning, permit process, and any other safety matters.
- Conducts and leads daily stretch and flex, toolbox talks, safety stand downs and training.
- Conduct Site Audits, Risk Assessments, and Job Hazard Analysis and ensure open items are closed
- Ensure effective investigation and analysis of accidents (non-injury and injury) is completed, and necessary corrective actions are defined and immediately implemented to prevent recurrence across the construction site.
- Take a leadership position on HSE issues where there are clearly unacceptable HSE practices being employed at any workplace on-site.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related incidents, inspections, and training sessions
- Inventories and maintains appropriate quantities of all necessary safety equipment and PPE.
- Ensure that AdvanceTEC’s policies, procedures, and action plans are current and industry leading.
- Make safety fun, exciting, and engaging for our employees and trade partners to embrace and follow.
- Ensure that AdvanceTEC’s safety is world-class, and is followed uniformly across the projects, regardless of AdvanceTEC’s role as a subcontractor or prime contractor.
- Communicate and work with AdvanceTEC Corporate Safety Team to ensure safety is at the forefront.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Safety Professional in the construction industry.
- Certification as a Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) or Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STS-C) preferred.
- OSHA 500, OSHA 501, or a willingness to obtain certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Ability to verbally communicate in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
- Experience working in cleanroom or controlled environment construction project.
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various construction sites, including out-of-state locations, as required.
- Proficiency in using computer applications to include Microsoft office products.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective safety programs and policies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
