Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Maintenance Department on the 3rd Shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing emergency work, scheduling labor for future projects, and assigning tasks to technicians. The Maintenance Supervisor will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of equipment, machinery, and facility systems, while leading a team to meet both production demands and maintenance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of the Maintenance team, ensuring timely and effective completion of tasks.
- Oversee and respond to emergency and urgent work requests on the current shift.
- Manage scheduling for the team, ensuring appropriate coverage for all tasks while considering future work demands.
- Assign work orders and scheduled tasks to maintenance technicians, ensuring work is completed efficiently and on time.
- Support the maintenance of equipment, ensuring all systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, PLC controls, and beverage operations, are properly maintained and repaired.
- Plan and manage in-house and contracted projects, working closely with contractors, vendors, and the production team.
- Ensure that safety protocols are followed at all times, maintaining a safe working environment for all team members.
- Provide guidance and training to maintenance technicians to enhance skills and team performance.
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and disruptions to production schedules.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping for work orders, maintenance schedules, and completed projects.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, as well as PLC control systems.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing beverage production equipment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with team members, contractors, and other departments.
- Ability to work independently, while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed to support customer demand or specific projects.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanical/electrical or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in maintenance or technical roles, including supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
- Experience managing teams, scheduling tasks, and overseeing multiple projects.
