Service Technician - Linx

Job Duties: Performs basic diagnostics and reports on trailer equipment and other Linx products. Travels to handle repairs as needed per service schedule Maintains current knowledge of Linx products. Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment. Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments Accounts for all time in the time keeping systems and for all material used in performing assigned duties. Performs other duties assigned by management to meet business needs. Job Requirements: 1+ years minimum of experience performing service repairs Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual Procedures Proficient knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in the repair of trailer equipment. Basic computer functions Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes Proficient oral and written communication skills Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly Basic Service Technician certification preferred High School Diploma or equivalent education required Valid driver’s license is required Forklift experience preferred Welding experience preferred Linx offers a comprehensive range of benefits for all full-time positions that includes medical, dental, vision and a matching 401-K retirement plan along with a variety of other optional benefits.
