What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Mechanic Technician - Linx position at AG-PRO LLC?
Job Duties:
- Performs basic diagnostics and reports on trailer equipment and other Linx products.
- Travels to handle repairs as needed per service schedule
- Maintains current knowledge of Linx products.
- Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
- Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
- Completes all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments
- Accounts for all time in the time keeping systems and for all material used in performing assigned duties.
- Performs other duties assigned by management to meet business needs.
Job Requirements:
- 1 years minimum of experience performing service repairs
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual Procedures
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems used in the repair of trailer equipment.
- Basic computer functions
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Basic Service Technician certification preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent education required
- Valid driver’s license is required
- Forklift experience preferred
- Welding experience preferred
