The position is responsible for providing administrative support and coordination to hospice homecare teams. Responsibilities include coordination of scheduling, documentation, reporting, and providing customer service.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THIS ROLE (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
The position is responsible for providing administrative support and coordination to hospice homecare teams. Responsibilities include coordination of scheduling, documentation, reporting, and providing customer service.
- Administrative Tasks
- Coordinates coverage schedule (on-call, holiday rotation, etc.) and reimbursement requests for homecare leadership.
- Schedules, coordinates logistics, and takes meeting minutes for discipline-specific meetings
- Facilitates pediatric IDT.
- Keeps email distribution groups, Medline access, and homecare portion of Inside Agrace up to date.
- Coordinates weekly email/communication distribution including Inside Agrace.
- Assists with updates to hospice homecare documentation at the direction of homecare leadership.
- Maintains inventory of department-specific supplies.
- Other Duties
- Participate in internal work groups, meetings and committees relative to position responsibilities.
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 2 years of administrative support experience, required. Health care setting, preferred
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite Skills
- Experience using EHR and databases
- Demonstrated customer service and phone communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Demonstrated writing, editing and proofing skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality about patients, families, caregivers, staff, donors, and organizational intellectual property.
- Ability to use proper body mechanics and standard precautions.
- Ability to be flexible in time and task to meet organizational needs
