Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless onboarding process, maintaining accurate HR records, and actively supporting various HR initiatives. The HR Assistant will be tasked with coordinating orientations, generating, and submitting offer letters, service agreements, I-9 forms, and maintaining organizational charts, among other HR-related responsibilities. Additionally, this role will involve project assignments and overseeing anniversary recognition programs and initiatives. The position provides essential administrative support to the human resources department as needed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation, and maintain I-9 files to include I-9 Audits.
- Coordinate orientation and HR training.
- Submit online investigation requests and assist with new-employee background checks.
- Process new hire and rehire onboarding.
- Create job offers and service agreements, ensuring successful onboarding for new hires by obtaining all necessary file items.
- Perform various clerical functions such as making photocopies, mailing, scanning, and emailing documents.
- File documents into appropriate employee files.
- Prepare new-employee files.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field and/or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
- At least one year of related experience is required.
- Technical capabilities within both server-based files and web-based applications/programs are required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
