RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safety audits
- Set goals for performance and deadlines.
- Using Continuous Improvement tools.
- Planning and implementation of productivity, equipment or process improvement efforts.
- Conduct Quality audits on products moving through-out the plant.
- Ensure labor tracking is timely and accurate.
- Provide training for plant staff.
- Ensure preventive maintenance programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5 plus years of Production Management experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Sheet-fed offset print
- Dynamic digital print
- Mailing
- Production Planning
- Lean Manufacturing
- Full-service bindery and assembly
- Proven experience in reducing plant production costs, and in increasing safety standards.
- Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
- Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts.
- Experience in reporting on key production metrics.
- Excellent organizational and leaderships skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
