Our Production team is always one step ahead. While many teams are responsible for responding to moments in the present, this one looks toward the future. From finessing the production of our silhouettes to developing new materials, our production gurus work hand-in-hand with our factory team to make sure the wheels of Rothy’s keep turning on our quest for a more sustainable future.
About the role :
The Production Manager is a process and execution expert who works closely with the Product, Merchandising, Design, Product Development and Production teams to keep everyone on track and optimized. They will drive alignment and ensure timely execution across product functions, creating processes and timelines that keep the team on time and on the task for all go-to-market initiatives including ad hoc product initiatives. The Production Manager will identify opportunities for efficiency and will implement improvements that drive effectiveness, speed and reduce complexity. They will represent the needs across all product related functions and champion continuous improvements to deliver the best products on time and on budget
What you’ll do :
Manage go-to-market product initiatives from start to finish including regular seasonal assortment, chase capsules and special projects that arise as part of brand-building efforts, such as collaborations and special partnerships
Build, own and drive go-to-market calendars and cross-functional milestones that represent Design, Merch, Inventory Planning, Retail teams and Wholesale teams, through development to production and delivery.
Communicate all calendar milestones with team members and maintain team calendars to reflect all milestone dates and updates
Develop and manage calendars, project schedules, workflows, and project status reporting, demonstrating the ability to manage multiple complex projects, work prioritization, planning and task delegation
Attend cross-functional meetings to understand the status of products and re-work calendars as needed with functional leads in Design, Merchandising and Planning
Manage weekly check ins with team to ensure deliverables are on time and keep team aware of timing changes and impacts of late or changed decisions
Partner closely with Product Development / Production teams, to ensure timelines are workable for factory and for Production & Development team members, approaching process and calendaring as a united front
Identify areas of opportunity for product process improvements and help to identify solutions
Develop and implement business process solutions, change requests, test plans and trainings
Lead and facilitate reviews focused on KPIs, action items, and goals to ensure all teams are tracking towards initiatives
Organize leadership meetings, setting agendas and communicating key objectives
Act as an integrator between teams, connecting the dots across departments and initiatives, facilitating communication, and ensuring alignment of efforts toward the organization's strategic objectives
Oversee complex, cross-departmental projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery of outcomes
Establish project management frameworks, tools and templates to enhance clarity, collaboration and accountability
You are :

You have :
5 years of product / production management experience in retail or related industry
Strong organizational and prioritization skills and incredible detail orientation
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills and can create clear, compelling visual communications that help convey complex ideas to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
Confidence reporting to the Executive team, Product Team Leadership and other stakeholders and communicating progress of ongoing programs and initiatives
Familiarity with design thinking and iterative problem-solving processes in order to bring a creative, user-centered perspective to the table
Knowledge of Footwear and / or Accessory Product Development is a plus

Compensation Range : $120K - $141K
Salary : $120,000 - $141,000
