We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Outpatient OB Nurse to join our obstetrics team and contribute to improving maternal and child health outcomes in our community.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive prenatal assessments, providing education, guidance, and support to expectant mothers throughout their pregnancies.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate personalized care plans for patients.
- Perform and interpret routine prenatal tests and screenings to monitor the health of both mother and child.
- Deliver postnatal care, including breastfeeding support and health education for new mothers during outpatient visits.
- Educate patients on prenatal and postnatal health, emphasizing nutrition, exercise, and overall well-being.
- Actively participate in community health programs and initiatives to enhance maternal and child health outcomes.
Qualifications :
Licensure : Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state.
Education : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher; specialization in obstetrics is highly desirable.
Experience : Minimum of 2 years in obstetric nursing, preferably in an outpatient setting.
