We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Business Development to join our growing team at Akvelon. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, cultivating client relationships, and identifying strategic opportunities within the technology consultancy sector.
This position is located in the Seattle, Eastside area.
Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base in the Greater Seattle Area and beyond.
- Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform and adapt business development strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute effective business development strategies aligned with Akvelon's objectives to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and delivering exceptional client satisfaction.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with technical teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches that showcase Akvelon's technological expertise and value proposition.
- Networking: Represent Akvelon at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to establish a strong presence and identify potential business opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and project delivery, to ensure effective communication and successful project implementation.
- Revenue Forecasting: Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and pipelines, providing regular updates to leadership.

- Proven track record (5 years) of successful business development in the technology consultancy sector.

- Demonstrated ability to build and nurture client relationships, resulting in successful partnerships and repeat business.
