Aletheia Integrative is growing our team! We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an integral part of our healthcare team, the LPN will provide quality patient care under the supervision of a physician. The Aletheia Patient Care Specialist serves our clients and patients by assisting our practitioners with their visits and ensuring that each individual receives personalized care. Our young clinic offers flexibility in responsibility with room to grow in our fast paced clinic.
Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures; monitor and record vital signs; provide wound care, injections, infusions and other prescribed interventions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on treatment plans, medication usage, and preventive care; respond to patient questions and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Medical Record Management: Accurately document patient care, histories, and interventions in electronic medical records (EMR) in accordance with office protocols.
- Administrative Support: Schedule appointments, handle patient intake, and manage phone inquiries; assist in maintaining a smooth patient flow within the office.
- Inventory Management: Maintain and restock medical supplies, ensuring all equipment is clean, functional, and readily available.
- Compliance: Follow all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, as well as medical office policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Active LPN license in Nebraska.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
