Job Summary
The Maintenance Calibration Technician II is responsible for maintenance and calibration including repair of equipment and calibration of equipment, utilities and systems supporting cGMP Manufacturing, Laboratories, Warehouse, and commercial office space. Perform planned and corrective maintenance according to written instructions, diagnose issues in the field in real-time, propose corrective solutions, and complete and review related Facilities GMP documents. Provide calibrations for GMP equipment and spaces for accuracy and repeatability. Ensure the safety and compliance of all applicable systems.
Responsibilities
- Utilize schematics and logic controllers to troubleshoot and calibrate equipment
- Fabricate calibration standards when necessary
- Perform repairs/installations/upgrades to building components, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, furniture, flooring and any other general repairs as necessary.
- Perform calibration on equipment involving hydraulics, distributed control systems, and high voltage systems
- Use tools such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to detect and correct errors in equipment readings
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement calibration procedures
- Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians
Requirements
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD for reading schematics
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, distributed control systems, and high voltage systems
- Experience in detecting and correcting errors in equipment readings
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
