Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Field Calibration Technician II to join our team. This role involves calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting a range of laboratory and manufacturing plant instrumentation and equipment. Ideal candidates will have 4-8 years of relevant experience and can work independently with creativity and initiative.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform NIST Traceable calibration services for General Laboratory and Process Equipment, including Freezers, Incubators, Autoclaves, and Water Systems.
• Calibrate various instruments such as CO2, Conductivity, Humidity, Pressure, and Temperature meters.
• Provide NIST Traceable calibration for Analytical Equipment, including Laser Particle Counters, Biological Air Samplers, Biowelders, Microplate Readers, UV-VIS Spectrophotometers, Osmometers, and Thermal Cyclers.
• Maintain Good Documentation Practices and strong organizational skills.
• Follow Quantus SOPs, customer-specific procedures, and industry best practices.
• Enhance customer relationships by offering comprehensive support and leveraging Quantus’s extensive knowledge base.
Requirements
Qualifications
• 4-8 years of relevant experience in the Life Sciences Services Industry or related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to transition smoothly between tasks.
• Excellent initiative, planning, and organizational skills, along with a willingness to suggest process improvements.
• Compliance with Safety Sensitive standards, possessing full, unimpaired skills and judgment.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various positions (bending, kneeling, sitting, standing).
• Valid driver’s license; company fleet vehicle provided (personal use included).
• Ability to pass a drug and background check.
• Local travel to customer sites in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
